Our Palm Harbor home is a prime example of hurricane-tested homes, situated right on the water of Trinity Bay, an area significantly impacted by Hurricane Ike. Despite the storm's fury, our modular home stood strong, impressing many of our neighbors with its durability, showcasing the resilience of clearance homes.

When we returned to our home in Sabine Pass, Texas, after Hurricane Ike, we were relieved to find that our hurricane-tested home had survived the worst the storm could deliver, losing just 6 shingles. Given that we are less than a mile from the Gulf, that was incredible. Unfortunately, my father’s site-built home next door was completely gone, and most of the other homes in our area, whether site-built or modular homes, were either destroyed or vanished entirely.
